Making its artistic resources available to a broad and diverse population is a priority for Carnegie Hall, and corporate support of these initiatives strengthens the Hall's ability to address this concern. Since Walter Damrosch conducted the very first "Young People's Concert" in 1891, Carnegie Hall has been committed to teaching people of all ages about music.
