CARNEGIE HALL ANNOUNCES CANCELATION OF VIOLINIST JULIA FISCHER’S
SOLO RECITALS ON MARCH 31 AND APRIL 1
NEW YORK, NY, February 22, 2010—Carnegie Hall today announced that violinist Julia Fischer has canceled her solo recital performances on Wednesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Zankel Hall. Due to a family concern, it is with great regret that Ms. Fischer must postpone her upcoming US recital performances in spring 2010. At this time, the Carnegie Hall recitals will not be rescheduled.
Ticketholders who purchased at the Box Office must return their tickets in person; all other ticketholders will receive automatic refunds. For additional information, the general public may contact CarnegieCharge at (212) 247-7800.
