Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 was attended by more than 600 guests and raised over $2.8 million to directly support Carnegie Hall’s artistic and education programming.

The gala included a pre-concert reception in the Rohatyn Room at Carnegie Hall; a concert in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, featuring the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Nikolaus Harnoncourt with pianist Lang Lang; and a post-concert dinner in the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria.
