    Inspire the desire to aspire.

The Achievement Program—a new partnership between Carnegie Hall and The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto—provides a recognized national set of standards and a sequenced course of study for people studying music privately across the US, from beginner through advanced.

The Program's system of assessments creates a new way for US students to track progress and celebrate accomplishments. The Program also helps parents who seek a better understanding of their children's musical growth and supports independent teachers with high-quality, innovative resources.

  • What people are saying

I believe that the study of an instrument can be incredibly fulfilling, whether you dream of a career on the concert stage or simply want music to be a meaningful part of your life. I am so excited about The Achievement Program and its capacity to inspire people of all ages across the country to engage with music. I always say that it’s never to late to learn the piano! Whether you are eight years old or eighty, this is a high quality program that will motivate you to reach your musical potential.
