• Musical Connections

Musical Connections offers diverse live music experiences for people in healthcare settings, correctional facilities, senior-service organizations, and homeless shelters across New York City.

These programs provide experiences ranging from hourlong performances to three-month songwriting workshops, all designed to have the most meaningful impact on participants. Artist professional development is integral to the Musical Connections program, and ongoing workshops help each musician on the Musical Connections roster bring their best artistic and compassionate selves to their work.

  • “Even though I’ve been homeless and I’ve been through a lot, I can stand on the square with anyone now because I’ve become human again.”
    —David, songwriting workshop participant
