Winner of the 2002 Avery Fisher Career Grant, violinist Stefan Jackiw is “a legend in the making” (Chicago Tribune). Noted for his astounding technical prowess and clarity of sound, Jackiw possesses a rare combination of old-school charm and rock-star aplomb that makes him a unique artist. Pianist Anna Polonsky joins him for a hefty program of Stravinsky, Brahms, and Strauss, plus the world premiere of a new work by David Fulmer.
