Neighborhood Concert: Lucia Pulido

Queens Central Library
With her distinctively rich voice, Lucía Pulido is famous for her soulful interpretations of Latin American despecho songs, which both express the pain of unrequited love and celebrate the spirit of her native Colombia. Joined by a guitar and bass, Pulido also experiments with different musical styles, putting her unique stamp on everything from traditional Colombian music to jazz and other world musics.
