Neighborhood Concert: Charlie Porter Jazz Quartet

Multi-genre trumpeter and composer Charlie Porter plays with an imagination and expertise that sets him apart from other jazz musicians. His quartet performs Porter’s brilliantly written tunes with an exuberance that has helped them build a strong reputation on the international jazz circuit: They’ve been selected twice by Jazz at Lincoln Center and the US Department of State to tour Asia and Africa as part of the Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad program.
